Description:

Step up your career in business and retail management with the Retail Operations certificate at Capilano University. 

This business management certificate is available in three different configurations: (part-time, face-to-face and online) and after completing it, you'll have the skills to work in private or public sectors and retail business. 

In the program, you'll gain fundamental business skills, including leadership, retail marketing and operations, and people management. 

Gain confidence and skills to either step into the workforce directly upon graduation, or continue your studies with CapU's Business Administration diploma or degree programs.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  •  Grade11 Mathematics 
  •  Grade12 English  or  Grade12 English - First Peoples  or  Grade12 English Studies 

Basic requirements 

  • High school graduation 
  • Preference given to students with a minimum C grade in Math 11 and a minimum C+ grade in English Studies 12 or English 12 or English First Peoples 12 

Current high school students 

Grade 12 students can apply for conditional admission based on their final Grade 11 and/or interim Grade 12 marks by uploading their most recent grades (e.g., unofficial transcript or a report card) through EducationPlannerBC. Final admission depends on high school graduation and meeting the specific requirements of the program. 

Note: Applicants from B.C high schools must release their grades to CapU via the BC Ministry of Education at Student Transcripts Services (STS) as soon as possible.
